Location: Hybrid (Milton Keynes base, with occasional UK-wide travel)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Hours: Flexible working available

Our client, a leading Pharmaceutical Distribution business, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced QHSE Manager to join their team. This pivotal role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental management across the organisation. The successful candidate will oversee ISO systems, manage a dedicated QHSE team, and contribute to maintaining the company's commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the QHSE team, driving a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, laws, and regulations across all business operations
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organisation to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Lead investigations into any incidents or non-conformities and implement corrective actions
  • Provide QHSE training and guidance to staff at all levels to promote best practices
  • Report to senior management on the performance of QHSE systems and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure the organisation is prepared for internal and external audits

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a QHSE Manager, ideally within the pharmaceutical or distribution sectors
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and systems management (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Experience managing and leading a team to deliver on key safety and quality objectives
  • Strong understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage staff at all levels
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to travel across the UK when required
