Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced scientist with expertise in molecular biology techniques, such as PCR/qPCR, and the extraction, quantification, and analysis of genetic material. This role provides an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in molecular biology to contribute to projects that support the development of diagnostic assays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform DNA/RNA extractions
- Execute and validate qPCR and NGS assays
- Manage biobank and clinical sample storage
- Prepare buffer solutions
- Ensure the quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of project deliverables, providing regular updates
- Contribute to collaborative projects with external partners
- Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scientific reports
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure cleanliness
- Handle and process human samples
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential:
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual
- BSc/MSc in Genetics, Epigenetics, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of scientific research experience
- Strong understanding of molecular biology techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping
- Ability to critically evaluate data, with a focus on quality and reproducibility
- Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience working with clinical samples
- Familiarity with next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation
- Expertise in epigenetics assay development
- Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., Good Clinical Practice, ISO 13485, or other GxP standards)
- Proven ability to write papers and scientific reports
